Paula Patton, an American producer and actress, is well-known for her role as the lead character in Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol (an action thriller) as well as Precious (a dramatic). She was born into the middle class family living in Los Angeles and had big goals for her future. Her mom was a film buff and inculcated a love for films in the young girl as well. Paula enjoyed participating in school co-curricular activities, and was particularly fond of drama. She enjoyed performing in stage productions together with her fellow students. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School provided her with numerous chances to perform in high school and she decided to pursue acting to pursue a career. She went to the University of Southern California for an intensive summer program and was enthralled by the experience. She was awarded an assignment by PBS to produce documentaries over a period of three months. After completing the project, she started being a production assistant for TV documentaries. Then she moved on to producing documentaries. However, she had always wanted to work as an actress although she was content with her current work. Her first acting gig came by playing a supporting role in Will Smith's romantic comedy Hitch. In the years since, she's been in a variety of popular films and TV programs.
