Sheryl-Underwood
Sheryl Underwood is she is an American comedian and TV personality popular as host on The Talk, a popular talk show that airs on daytime TV. Born in Arkansas she grew up in Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl was raised in one of the most difficult families. She spent the majority of her young life caring for her younger sister Frankie who suffered from Polio. When she was a child, she had difficulties to her maternal grandmother. Sheryl says that at one incident her mother beat her father because he was becoming too close to her. At the time of her college graduation, Sheryl entered the military. Her passion for the military was comedy. She became the first female contestant in the competition Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. In 1992she made her TV debut as a regular on the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. She also hosted the show Oh Drama! in 2000. In 2011, she began appearing on The Talk as co-host. Additionally, she's been in fictional roles on shows including Bulworth Nikki as well as Beauty Shop.
